In March 1990, Ioannis Goutzourelas opens the jewellery shop of the same name in Larissa. Influenced by Greek history and mythology, as well as his travels around the world, he creates a wide range of handmade jewellery that travels to every corner of the world, thus developing an impressive clientele. At the same time, he is becoming known for the conservation and repair of heirlooms, making his name synonymous with reliability.

Listening to modern trends and taking into account the fresh perspective of his daughter Katerina, he created Kaviron with her. The name of the brand comes from Greek mythology and more specifically from the Kaviris, the ancient deities who knew the art of fire and metallurgy.
